The Full Tilt saga has dragged on for most of the summer. Not starting with Black Friday, when surprisingly they managed to stay in business, but following their license suspension, and subsequent closure for real play, the rumor mill has been working overtime.
That has been fueled in part by disclosures from purported insiders talking about the situation. Unfortunately, it seems that even FT employees know nothing of the workings at the higher level.
The lack of contact from FT to their players and affiliates has been astounding. A complete information blackout had been in place it seem since the beginning. Any one looking for information from them received useless responses fromt heir support staff and that was about it.
Other people have been making statements, such as high profile FT players, the Guernsey licensing authority, other players, some affiliates, some poker sites, but none of them have anything concrete to tell us.
Now it seems that the higher management at Tilt have decided to start communicating with their player base – not by email as you may have expected (I did) but over on the two plus two forum.
While that is certainly a step in the right direction they are still not telling us anything of any use.
The whole US facing poker world is shrouded in mystery and secrecy these days. Hopefully the US administration will get on with regulating the whole area and we can all get back to business as usual.
